UAE and Vietnam hold third round of political consultations in Hanoi

The UAE and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam held the third round of political consultations in Hanoi, co-chaired by Omran Sharaf and Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Minh Hang.

The UAE side was led by His Excellency Omran Sharaf, Assistant Foreign Minister for Advanced Science and Technology, and the Vietnamese side by Her Excellency Nguyen Minh Hang, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Regular political consultations are a mechanism the UAE foreign ministry uses with a number of countries to review bilateral relations, explore cooperation opportunities and exchange views on issues of mutual interest.

UAE–Vietnam ties have grown in recent years, particularly in trade and investment, as the UAE broadens its partnerships with emerging Asian economies.
