Gargash: UAE approach remains anchored in wisdom and political solutions

Dr Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, said the UAE's approach remains firm and clear, based on wisdom, balance and giving priority to dialogue and political solutions, amid a hazy regional picture and growing speculation about escalation.

Gargash said the current stage requires the highest degree of restraint, flexibility and rationality, away from the logic of escalation. The region's experience, he said, has shown that wars only lead to more crises and that diplomacy is the most effective way to preserve security and achieve peace and stability.

The remarks come as the region faces tension linked to the war on Iran and mutual threats, alongside regional and international mediation efforts seeking to de-escalate and end the confrontation.

The UAE has consistently called for political solutions to regional crises and backed dialogue and de-escalation, in line with its priorities of strengthening stability and development in the region.
