UAE Red Crescent delivers $13.6 million in winter and medical aid to Gaza

On the directives of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Emirates Red Crescent has provided winter and medical aid worth $13.6 million to the people of Gaza.

The package has two main parts: winter supplies to help residents cope with the cold season, and medical assistance to support the health sector and patients' needs in the Strip.

The aid comes as winter approaches and deepens the hardship of Gaza's population amid the difficult humanitarian conditions left by the war and the displacement of large numbers of families.

The UAE continues to provide humanitarian assistance to Gaza through its aid organisations, including the Emirates Red Crescent, as part of its support for the Palestinian people.
