Saeed Al Hajeri represents UAE President at gas exporters' summit in Moscow

On behalf of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of State Saeed Al Hajeri took part in the Eighth Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) in Moscow.

The summit, hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin, brought together heads of state and government and senior representatives of participating countries, and marked the forum's 25th anniversary.

The GECF, whose secretariat is based in Doha, groups several of the world's major natural gas producers and aims to strengthen coordination and dialogue among its members on gas markets and the fuel's future in the global energy mix.

The UAE's participation reflects its interest in the energy sector, its role as an energy producer and exporter, and its presence in international forums concerned with supply security and market stability.
