Al Majlis Times (المجلس) is an Arabic-first news platform based in Abu Dhabi. It brings readers the top headlines from the UAE, the Gulf and the world in clear, concise language. This is our English edition.

What we do

Every day we follow trusted official and media sources, such as the official accounts of leaders and government bodies and press releases. We then verify and rewrite each story in the Al Majlis style, in clear and concise language.

The site also features Insider · Exclusive, a section for exclusive opinion pieces written by contributors from the UAE, the Gulf and the region. The views expressed are the authors' own.

Our mission

To be a daily majlis for our readers: accurate, trustworthy news and respectful, neutral writing, all in one place and without padding.
