UAE calls for water security to be central to economic planning

Speaking at WETEX and the World Green Economy Summit, H.E. Abdulla Balalaa discussed opportunities to strengthen economic resilience through integrated infrastructure, innovation and investment.

WETEX and the World Green Economy Summit are held in Dubai and bring together policymakers, experts and companies each year to discuss energy, water and sustainability solutions.

The UAE relies heavily on seawater desalination to meet its needs and is working to develop more efficient and sustainable technologies in the field.
